Meet Sylvia Schroeder

Hi! I'm a Kansas farm girl, missionary, partner in ministry, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and writer. I write about Jesus, family, and God's Word in the ordinary and extraordinary of each day.

Some things about me

My name is Sylvia Schroeder. I married my high school jungle-boy sweetheart. We’ve been married a   v-e-r-y    l-o-n-g    t-i-m-e. Even before Phil swept me off my feet with his exotic missionary-kid stories, I felt God calling me into overseas ministry. Together, we spent most of our married years in global work, many in Italy.

We learned more than taught. We grew to understand our best days start with a cappuccino and end with a plate of pasta.

We learned the Bible is our lifeline, family is a gift to treasure:

I write about all of them. My passion is for Jesus’ imprint to expand with each generation.

OH, Some other things about me!

This space exists as a place to reflect on what the Bible says to each of us in the big picture of our lives and for every ordinary day. Here nurtures a legacy of generational faith and eternal imprint.

I hope you grab a cup of coffee, cappuccino, espresso or a tall glass of iced tea and sit down with me for a moment of quiet together.
